Lovers of architecture will enjoy the charming Baldassini B&B- this B&B is found in a centrally located Renaissance palace, Baldassini Palace, built in 1525 by the celebrated architect Bramante’s assistant, Antonio da Sangallo. This is the ideal location for visiting Rome on foot: just two minutes walk to the Pantheon and Navona Square, it is also just ten minutes to Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps, and only 20 minutes walk to the Vatican and Coliseum. ...more details > For those looking for great nightlife, the Trastevere area is only 20 minutes away. Those looking for a culinary experience will not be disappointed: several excellent restaurants and gelato shops are located right down on the street from the building. The Baldassini is located at the first floor and has three lovely and beautifully decorated rooms, each with a private bathroom. The rooms sleep 1, 2 or 3 people and each have TV, air conditioning, free internet access, phone, iron and ironing-board, hair dryer, tea/coffee facilities, microwave and mini-fridge. Sensational location, authentic heritage building containing some B&B rooms managed and serviced by friendly, obliging manager. I felt like I was staying in a local apartment rather than a hotel. Breakfast bought to my room. Great |

Excellent location, very helpful staff. Breakfast was not as expected - this was too pre-packaged and not of the expected standard. What we would have appreciated is a really good pot of coffe and tea with fresh panini butter and jam not assorted biscuits, yogurt, cereal etc. Such a shame that we were let down in this respect as food in Italy is so important. |

Very clean. Friendly personnel. Not to much privacy though, as our bathroom was on the hallway.
But the best thing about it was the location. Couldn't get better than it. |
