The inviting 1 star Gaia Hostel has an excellent central location about 400 meters from Roma Termini train station in the centre of Rome and excellent communication to many of the Eternal City’s sites. There are doubles, triples, and quadruples. Some of the rooms have a private bathroom (hair dryer included), but the rest share a bathroom. The rooms are simple, but the hostel has a warm, welcoming feel. There is also wireless internet and air conditioning for hot summer nights. Breakfast is included in the price of the room at this bed and breakfast style hostel. The hostel has a parquet floor a stylish kitchen which is at the disposal of the guest. la réception est très chaleureux. Le rapport qualité prix très bon. Je le recommande aux autres pour les vacances et découvrir Rome. |

Dass wir in einem anderen Haus untergebracht werden, damit haben wir ja fast gerechnet. Aber dass wir in einer ehemaligen Küche mit knappen 10 qm wohnen würden, Fliesen an der Wand hatten und unser Zimmer mit einer leichten Schiebetür verschlossen wurde, die mit einem "Tagebuch-Vorhängeschloss" gesichert war, damit hatten wir nicht gerechnet und war der Hammer.Im Internet wird das Gaia Hostel mit einer 1-Stern Auszeichnung angeboten!!! Leider war es uns vergönnt, ein Zimmer im eigentlichen Hostel zu testen. Die Sauberkeit im Bad unseres Hostels "Gaia & Sophie" war sehr dürftig. Das Frühstück wurde im Flur angeboten, mit angerührtem ekligem Kaffee. Das Kaffeewasser für den Wasserkocher wurde im Bad geholt, weil es keine Küche gibt!!! Aber wo wurden die Tassen gespült??? Sehr schlecht war, dass es nur eine Toilette im Bad gab. Zum Glück gibt es in diesem Hostel "nur" 4 Zimmer mit 12 Personen. Davon war einer der Eigentümer, der auf einer Galerie im Flur schlief und eine 3-köpfige Familie, die ein Zimmer bewohnte. Unserer Bitte, das Zimmer wechseln zu dürfen, wäre nur für eine von drei Nächten möglich gewesen, allerdings hätten wir wieder in ein anderes Haus ziehen müssen. Das Gaia Hostel hängt mit einigen anderen Hostels zusammen, unseres hieß z.B. "Gaia and Sophie". Also, wer nach Rom fährt, muss bei der Unterkunft sehr tolerant sein! |

Endroit correct pour le prix avec une bonne situation, mais attention à ceux qui désire prolonger leur matiné au lit, la femme de ménage aime bien claqué les portes.
Sinon les gérants étaient sympa ils sont venus nous chercher au coeur de rome car on trouvait pas l'appart, franchement, sympa !! |

Nous avons logé dans un autre logement appartenant à l'hotel Gaia, qui a été très confortable. Notre fenêtre donnait sur une cour intérieure, donc très tranquille. La salle de bain partagé était très propre. Les gens de la réception ont tous été super (on été présent malgré notre arrivée tardive, etc.) |
