Rome, bars restaurant & club guide> Clubsin Rome

Rome has always been famous for being a cultural and historical heritage site for mankind. Over the past few years however the city has reinvented itself, generating an ongoing transition from ancient treasure to vibrant European capital. New investment in arts & culture, international DJs & musicians and a powerful enthusiastic energy is turning Rome, the Eternal City into a cutting-edge music and dance capital.

Rome is also a vibrant live music venue. It has a multifunctional complex called the Auditorium where you can often enjoy great rock, jazz, pop and classical events by famous international artists. Another option for cool live music in Rome is the Teatro Palladium. Top tip: for details of upcoming events check the trendy (and free) magazine Zero6 that you can find in shops and pubs.

In the area around Via Libetta (South of Testaccio, off Via Ostiense) you’ll find many fashionable Roman clubs where you can hit the dance floor or enjoy a cool cocktail. The area west of Piazza Navona is also a great spot to get in touch with the trendy Roman crowd. Another good tip: to enter some venues in Rome you can use the Arcigay Uno Club Card (www.arcigay.it) that costs 14€ for annual membership or 7€ for 1 month (perfect for tourists).
