Borgo Pio 64 B&B, Roma

Annyi volt a probléma a hellyel, hogy az oldalon úgy volt feltüntetve, hogy kétágyas szobát foglaltunk le fürdőszobával, viszont nem ezt kaptuk. Megmutattam a papírt, amit kinyomtattam a szállásfoglalásról. Magyarul úgy volt írva, hogy FÜRDŐSZOBÁVAL, olszul pedig hogy FÜRDŐSZOBA KÍVÜL (estate azt hiszem), szóval reklamálni sem tudtam, de mi a saját fürdőszobás díjat fizettük ki!!! Csak szálláshely van, se recepció, semmi. A reggeli a közeli snack bárban, minden reggel csak egy croissant és a capuccino. Nem olyan szívélyesek, de a szoba elhelyezkedése (szinte a vatikán "lábánál") kárpótolt mindenért! Tradurre questo commento del cliente

This accommodation is in a great location just outside the vatican city. It was good for what we needed although for a B&B we only got breakfast 1 day out of 3. If you're not that fussed about breakfast then its definately worth it. Tradurre questo commento del cliente

Die Lage des B&B war hervorragend,direkt beim Vatikan und zentral zur Metro. Man sollte vielleicht drauf hinweisen, dass die Unterkunft im 3. Stock liegt, das heißt 72 Treppenstufen ohne Aufzug,gehbehinderte und ältere Menschen haben hier ihre Schwierigkeiten. Das Zimmer war klein aber gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Badezimmer war geräumig, man müßte mal in neue Fugen und Schimmelex investieren, da die Fugen der Badewanne stark verschimmelt waren, auch die Duschabtrennung war abenteuerlich wacklig. Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer war oberflächlich ok, aber die Ecken und auf den Schränken fehlte das Staubtuch. Auch fand ich es ungewöhnlich, dass in den 5 Tagen nicht einmal die Handtücher gewechselt wurden geschweige denn jemand zum Saubermachen kam. Das Frühstück wurde in einer Bar in der Nähe der unterkunft eingenommen, das Personal dort war mufflig und unhöflich. It's a long story, which I wrote on Travel advisory but we did not have a good experience. The reviews on this website are pretty good but check travel advisory because others had an experience similar to ours. It's a young couple that run this place and after we booked they told us they were overbooked and asked if we would be ok with an apartment for the same price. We thought that might be quite nice but they never gave us the address and we were not able to get an answer back from them in our email the day before we arrived so we told them we will not have a phone or email and since we didn't hear from them that we would meet them at Borgo Pio 64. They knew we would be there at three so I don't know why they thought we would meet at the address they never gave us but we waited 45min and tried phoning from pay phone getting no answer, luckily we found someone that knew them and they answered their cell and we're quite upset that we didn't meet them at the address they never gave us. When we finally got straightened out I didn't have all the money with me Thank goodness because the "fully equipped kitchen" had hardly anything and only one burner on the stove top worked and the faucet was not even attatched to the counter not to mention the neighbors told us once they have your money forget them taking pride in their service as they had not had their towels changed for 5 days(they stayed 7 in total and towels not changed at all) and got only one roll of toilet paper for a family of three for a weeks stay and the breakfast was pre packaged bread and sweets with jam and nothing else. No juice, no milk no fresh bread. The neighbors offered for us to use their stove and cook the food we bought and were not able to prepare in our unit and we unfortunately accidentally locked ourselves out of the apartment. We called the cell phone numbers from a pay phone many many times and they would not answer, finally I went to a near by hotel thinking I was dialling incorrect and after another half an hour she finally got them to pick up and they sent their friend over to let us in. We then told her our concerns and with Riccardo the other end of the cell phone we asked if we would have had clean towels and a real breakfast if we would have insisted on staying with our original reservation at Borgo Pio 64 and miraculously he said that we could go to Borgo Pio but the price is 10 euro more per person. Pretty suspicious that it was all of a sudden no longer overbooked... I believe they got us to take the apartment so that they could get a better price for the Borgo Pio unit. I was very glad we didn't give him all our payment up front and ended up moving to the neighbors unit with a working stove and as we moved got fresh towels but No breakfast which is strange since their is a fridge, so all they need to do is put juice milk and yogurt in the fridge and maybe dry cereal and fresh bread with Jam...Very easy and Very inexpensive. All in all, although the location is excellent, you best know what it is you are getting into. It has such potential to be an excellent place to stay but the owners just don't care about you or the commitments they made, I felt like they want it to be easy money and once they got it you are on your own. Sehr gute Lage, nur wenige Meter von der Piazza San Pietro entfernt und in 5 min erreicht man die Metrostation und die Busstation. Die Zimmer sind herzig eingerichtet, sauber aber leider sehr hellhörig. Wir empfehlen jedem, der keine grossen Ansprüche hat und keinen Luxus braucht sowie, hier zu übernachten.
