Market in Rome

Rome, the beautiful Italian Capital, has many charming markets where you can buy food, flowers, clothes, accessories, etc. The oldest market in Rome is called Campo de' Fiori and it’s been taking place for more than 100 years. It’s located in a Piazza south of Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, it sells food and flowers and is open every morning (except Sundays).
Other important and nice markets in Rome are: Mercato di Testaccio (located in Piazza Testaccio, perfect to buy cheese, vegetables and meat); Mercato delle Stampe (in Largo della Fontanella di Borghese, you can find old books, magazines and engravings); Porta Portese (every Sunday morning, on the left bank of the River Tiber, between Porta Portese and Stazione Trastevere, good Roman street market for buying clothes).
