The Appartamento Cavour can sleep up to three people in the historic centre of Rome near the Piazza di Spagna, Piazza del Popolo, Via del Corso and Via Condotti, all just ten minutes away on foot. The green park and Villa Borghese are just across the river and here you will find the Borghese Gallery, a beautiful Italian mansion which houses some of the most breathtaking art Italy has to offer: Bernini’s two most famous sculptures, Apollo and Daphne and his David are both here. ...more details > Take a wander across the Tiber and soon you’ll be in the Jewish Quarter and in the bustling Campo di Fiori. Wander down the beautiful banks of the Tiber River and you will arrive at the Castel Sant Angelo. Just beyond here is the Vatican Museum where you can see Michelangelo’s masterwork, the Sistine Chapel. The house is very luminous because it is at the last floor of an elegant building and it has a beautiful private terrace (40 m²) with plants and table with chairs where you can dine al fresco. The rooms in the apartment are spacious and filled with natural light, and nicely designed. The apartment has one big bedroom with a double bed, bathroom with shower and bath tub and fully equipped kitchen. Also included there is a single fold out bed. Das Appartment ist sehr hübsch. Es liegt relativ zentral dennoch hat man hier im 6. Stock weitgehend seine Ruhe.
Großes Plus: zu jeder Tageszeit kann man es sich im Sommer auf der schönen, großen Dachterasse mit nettem Ausblick gut gehen lassen.
Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll, das Bad schön groß. Die Küche ist zwar klein aber mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, um sich ein Frühstück oder ein kleine warme Mahlzeit zuzubereiten.
Was wir jetzt im Juli zunächst vermisst haben, ist die Klimaanlage. Dadurch, dass sich das Appartment jedoch sehr gut lüften und verdunkeln läßt, ist das eigentlich kein Problem mehr.
Eine Bushaltestelle (Colonna) liegt um die Ecke und so spart man sich viel Lauferei.
Ein sehr netter Portier ist zudem immer vor Ort für Fragen anspechbar.
