The Matilde Residence offers one star accommodation in the beautiful, quiet Trieste neighbourhood in Rome, right in the middle of a residential area full of mansions and grand houses with gardens. ...more details > This establishment enjoys a privileged location, just 15 minutes by foot from Porta Pia and 20 minutes from Piazza Bologna. There are plenty of restaurants, Pizzerias and shops in the surroundings, although the area itself is a calm, quiet place where visitors can relax away from the noise and bustle of the city. Located in a 3 storey mansion, Matilde Residence has a beautiful entrance with a front garden. The rooms have bathrooms and some have permission to use the kitchen. They are all equipped with air conditioning to make the hotter months more bearable. There are double rooms with double beds and rooms for up to 5 people sleeping in a double bed and three singles. The residence was renovated in 2007 and now offers all modern conveniences. Although it may sound strange, breakfast is served in the basement and may be served in the garden in summer. Housekeeper Maguella works hard to make it a pleasant stay and is so helpful, kind and sweet.
Bus is around the corner, but not always the bus you need to take. Metro station is not really nearby. |

El alojamiento está muy limpio. Es una casa de 3 plantas con dos habitaciones por rellano, así que no somos mucha gente.Las habitaciones son espaciosas, con ventana, muy soleadas y los baños son nuevos.Todo muy bien. El desayuno también muy bien: te sirven leche, zumo, tostadasy mermelada, bollitos, café. La chica que nos atendió, Miquela, siempre muy dispuesta a servirnos de todo, pero la pobre, un poco agobiada porqué eramos 14 personas que bajamos de golpe a desayunar. La situación del alojamiento está un poco apartado, en un barrio tranquilo y poco visitado por los turistas. Teníamos que andar un buen trozo para llegar al metro de Policlinico. Pero por lo demás todo bien. Quedamos todas las chicas muy contentas. |

très bonne adresse ; emplacement calme, hôtesse accueillante gentille et arrangeante, le ménage n'a pas été fait pendant notre séjour (4 nuits) mais la propreté des lieux est incontestable. Couchage confortable, jolie chambre, pas mal de petites attentions (bouilloire, sèche cheveux...) qui facilitent la vie du voyageur. Le petit-déjeuner est copieux et là aussi, on note la serviabilité de l'hôtesse. Bref, une adresse à recommander qui permet, en outre, de visiter un quartier de Rome inconnu des touristes. |

Quartier calme et tranquille, à 15 minutes de la gare Termini par la ligne de bus 38 (arrêt à deux minutes du logement), accueil chaleureux, petit déjeuner copieux toujours servis avec le sourire, idéal pour visiter Rome en amoureux ou en famille. |
