All have single or double beds. Breakfast is included in the price of the room. The rooms have air conditioning which comes in handy in the hot months of July and August. Very good location, we could walk to all sights although the vatican was a bit of a walk. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very plesant stay. Would recommend to others. |

*Gebuchte Terrasse war nicht vorhanden.
*Gebuchte Aussicht (view): nur Blick auf sehr verschmutzten und unhygenischen Hinterhof.
*Im Zimmer kein Tisch und kein Stuhl vorhanden (nur Bett).
* Matisse hat 5 verschiedene B&B Unterkünfte. Man weiß vorher nicht, wo man wohnen wird.
*Kein Empfang für Mobile, und kein Telefon oder Internet im Haus. Man ist völlig von der Welt abgeschnitten.
* Das Haus (Via Carvour 266) ist von außen sehr abstoßend und ungepflegt.
* Zimmer und Bad sehr sauber :-)
* 24-Stunden-Frühstück sehr praktisch.
* Bilder im WWW zeigen Matisse B&B in der Via Nazionale. Das ist eine Täuschung und wäre nach deutschem Recht eine Straftat. |

Das Hostel war super! Es lag direkt in der Innenstadt, so dass man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten locker zu Fuß erkunden konnte. Selbst der Vatikan war in ca. einer halben Std. zu erreichen. Das Hostel war sehr gepflegt und sauber. Roberto hat sich auch wirklich sehr um einen gekümmert! Ich war sehr begeistert und komm ganz sicher wieder! |

Sehr schlichte aber saubere Unterkunft mit Blick auf vermüllten Hinterhof, aber sehr gute, zentrale und trotzdem ruhige Lage. Betreuung durch Roberto: sehr angenehm, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gut klimatisierte Räume, sehr komfortabler Naßbereich, Matratzen gut, lose Kabelauslässe, Flecken an der Decke (Wassereinbruch?). Eingangs- und Essbereich wenig einladend: kahle Wände, Wasserflecken an den Decken, ungenügendes Frühstücksgeschirr: rote Plastikteller, abgesprungene Tassen, Toaster mit technischen Herausforderungen.
Sehr gut: Rauchen nur draußen!
Frühstück sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig und auch aus Plastik(verpackungen), Nescafe: alles Fertigprodukte |

Die Unterkunft war bez. Lage, Sauberkeit, vor allem aber wegen Robert einfach brilliant, zumal die Küche 24 Stunden zur Verfügung stand. Alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen.
Nach diesem Aufenthalt bin ich süchtig nach Rom und für mich kommt keine andere Unterkunft mehr in Frage. besser geht´s nicht.
