Named after a princess, the Soraya Hostel offers comfort and a relaxing environment only 10 minutes away walking distance from the enormous Coliseum, one of the most frequently visited attractions in all of Rome. Also, with the metro being close by, you'll be able to reach all corners of the city in a matter of minutes. This includes the Vatican City, the Piazza Navona, the Pantheon or even the Piazza di Spagna -famous for it's sprawling stairs- to name a few. ...more details > The surrounding area is described as animated, filled with foot traffic and passersby, where you'll have no trouble finding numerous bars and restaurants. To enjoy the exquisite Italian cuisine Italy is famous for, you can always explore the nearby neighbourhood of San Lorenzo. You'll also be in close proximity to the mainstay tourist attractions of the city such as the Basílica de San Giovanni in Laterano, the Porta Mayore or the Domus Aurea, amongst others. As far as accommodations are concerned, the hostel offers double rooms -easily converted into triples should the need arise- which are spacious and soundproofed. All rooms have a private bathroom and a television set. Breakfast is included in the total price. Also worthy of mention is that the hostel does not have a curfew, allowing its' guests to come and go at whatever time they please. Die Zimmer der Unterkunft sind sehr gepflegt, sauber und komfortabel. Das Frühstück ist auf jedenfall ausreichend. Nicht übermäßig üppig, aber man wird davon satt. Die Underground von Rom fährt direkt vor der Tür ab. Einzigster Minuspunkt: Die Lage an einer Hauptstraße. Aber wer von Rom was sehen möchte, bekommt den Lärm der Straße nicht mit. |

El Soraya Hostel, está muy bien ubicado, en la confluencia de dos avenidas importantes y está muy bien en comodidad y presentación; sin embargo fue difícil dar con el, puesto que no tiene aún colocado un letrero con el nombre y tuvimos que preguntar. Lastimosamente el trato del administrador fue lamentable a dos personas mujeres, una de las cuales era de la tercera edad. No permitió dejar el equipaje (dos mochilas pequeñas) en el último día, siendo que en su oferta establece el servicio de consigna; y en dos oportunidades (dos días) no realizaron el servicio de habitación (Limpieza y tendido de camas). Finalmente, se reservaron dos camas individuales y tuvieron que compartir una matrimonial (madre e hija) porque el encargado no supo resolver. |
