The New York Guest House offers simple, 1 star accommodation in the centre of Rome in a quiet area of the city near to Termini Station and other famous monuments such as the Coliseum, the Roman Forum, the Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, Villa Borghese, the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain. Termini metro station is very close to the accommodation and has direct trains to the Vatican City and St. Peter's Church. ...more details > Guests at the New York Guest House are accommodated in a building with a lift, which was restored in 2007. There are double, triple and quadruple rooms with private bathrooms which are either inside or outside the room. The rooms also benefit from an alarm clock, a hair dryer, towels and sheets, air conditioning and heating. Breakfast is not included in the price of the accommodation and there is no kitchen at the guest house although guests may buy drinks at the reception and there are plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants in the vicinity. Small children can stay at the New York for free without a bed and all of the guests are invited to use the free, wireless Internet connection in public areas of the building. Sightseeing tours and excursions within the city and the surrounding areas can be arranged as well as airport transfers via the reception. Very nice rooms, friendly staff that speak English. However, New York Guest House advertises air-conditioning, but the room only had a fan. |

L'adresse donné sur le site est celle des bureaux de réception des clients. Le Logement est situé à 2 mn à pied de là. Il est au 5ème étage d'un ancien immeuble avec ascenseur face à une place arborée et un monument de la renaissance romaine, et à 1 minute de la gare termini dans une rue calme et proche des restaurants, des petites boutiques de souvenirs et des lignes de métro A et B. L'accès à l'immeuble se fait avec une clé, comme l'accès à l'appartement et aux chambres. Il s'agit d'un appartement divisé en 5 chambres, 2 donnant sur une cours, 3 sur la place sans vis à vis. Les chambres sont refaites à neuf avec pour chacune une salle de bain qui bien que petite est fonctionnelle et propre (douche, WC, lavabo).Notre chambre faisait environ 15 mètre carré. Les murs des chambres sont épais, ce qui empêche d'entendre trop les voisins. Il y a une petite TV, des rangements, une petite table et 2 chaises. Un frigo est mis à disposition dans le couloir pour y ranger les courses: très pratique pour prendre le petit déjeuner et préparer des sandwichs pour la journée! Le personnel fait la chambre tous les jours, et les draps changés tous les 2 jours. Le petit plus: le personnel vous accueil en vous donnant une carte de Rome avec les principaux sites , mais également les banques les plus proches, les rues commerçantes et d'autres informations bien utiles! Les petits moins:
- il faut payer en espèces votre séjour et ce dès votre arrivée... ce qui vous empêche de changer si cela ne vous convient pas!
- arrivée à 11h00, nous avons eu notre chambre seulement à 15h00 pour des raisons qui restent encore obscures...!!!

La habitación es muy acogedora, y muy limpia, con nevera incluida. La localización está muy bien, porque puedes ir andando a todos los sitios, o si prefieres metro o bus, lo tienes al lado. Hemos estado muy agusto. Lo recomiendo! |
